Hamarikyu gardens is a public park in the central part of Tokyo. Just walking along its’ pass you can learn a lot about old days of Tokyo when it was the city of samurais, about modern times when Japan was changing from feudal era, and about recent days’ Tokyo where tradition leaves so close to industrialization, changing in its’ shape but keeping it soul. We’ll see the pine tree with age of more than 300 years, tea house, duck hinting hills and other landscapes of the park.
You can ask your questions during the tour and also in the end we will have a Q&A time.

Hi, my name is Dinara, I have been living in Japan for 16 years and travelled around all 47 prefectures. My favorite question in all of my trips is "why", as I always try to find the reasons and histories laying behind everything, and I would be glad to share what I have found so far. I love all periods of history of Japan, but the most fascinated ones for me are Edo period (1603-1868) and Meiji era (1868-1912) since this two have the keys to most of the unique and interesting things of modern Japan
